Whale Watching, June 30, 2004
I believe the whale watching day was the most successful day of our vacation. We all enjoyed it; those of us who didn't get motion sick more than those who did. It helped that it was a gorgeous day, not too hot.
I will plug Capt. Bill's out of Gloucester, not that I have anything to compare it to. The naturalist attempted to be informative and, most importantly, we saw lots of whales.
We saw fin back whales, minke whales and white striped dolphins. I can recognize the fin backs by the titular fin but if it isn't in sight I don't know if the individual is a minke or the fin is just out of sight.
